Is currently looking for:
Basic Functions
  • The Production Supervisor is directly responsible in ensuring that production meets or exceeds efficiency and company quality standards. He shall ensure that facilities and processes conform to GMP standards and HACCP policies, procedures and work instructions.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Directly supervises production workers by proper and strict implementation of Policies and procedures concerning production to ensure safety, quality and productivity.
  • Performs pre-operational inspection of facilities, raw materials, equipment and personnel in all sections thru daily inspection of:
  • Equipment and utensils availability and operation
  • Storage/Product holding equipment and processing areas.
  • Personal hygiene, sanitation and safety
  • Production Worker/Personnel
  • Overseeing sanitation of facilities
  • Ensuring regular and proper cleaning of all production facilities, equipment and utensils.
  • Accomplishes and reviews production reports thru monitoring of
  • Production Worker/Personnel
  • Storage and processing areas
  • Processing time
  • The production yield of each product.
  • Process controls and critical control points
  • Finished products and its distribution
  • Equipment efficiency
  • Production rejects, damages, waste and returns and determines root causes.
  • Attends, investigates and documents incidents and/or violations reports and submits to superior for proper disposition.
  • Trains and evaluates performance of production personnel.
  • Coordinates with QC and R&D for processes and specifications of new and existing products.
  • Monitors quality of raw and packaging materials, in-process and finished products.
  • Ensures strict implementation of GMP and HACCP policies.
  • Helps develop, update and maintain standard operating procedures and documentation for HACCP. Disseminates these procedures and other work instructions.
  • Performs troubleshooting of processes and/or products as necessary.
  • Monitors usage of utilities to ensure efficiency of operations.
  • Recommends and implements action plans to correct deviations noted during the routine inspection, internal and external audits.
  • Performs miscellaneous job – related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Industrial), Mathematics or equivalent.
  • At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • With Supervisory experience in Manufacturing/Production Operations preferably in a bakery set up
  • Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP policies implementation
